Hi, my name is Cindy. I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley (The Valley), located in greater Los Angeles. I was raised by two loving and hardworking Mexican parents and my paternal abuelita, who only spoke Spanish. After graduating from Brown University (undergrad) and UC Davis School of Medicine (M.D.), I came back home to the Valley to be close to my family. Although I completed medical school, I quit residency in 2019 and have since pivoted careers. While a difficult choice at the time, it was the right one for my mental health and happiness.
I am a proud mom of a cat and a dog. I speak Spanglish.
